So here's my new boots! I really needed them today, its not so much the mud, its the wet grass that really seeps through if your boots aren't up to the job. I was beginning to get trench foot!
These are Magnum Unisex Adults Viper Pro 8's, fully waterproof, leather boots in case you were wondering. They are certainly doing what I need them to and would recommend them, the grip and ankle support is great is which is much needed as I slip and trip all the time, just clumsy - and I don't tend to stay on the path, me and the dogs like to explore and go adventuring and sometimes that means we have to do a bit of cross country terrain. I have found these to be better value and much more comfortable that mid-price, fell or hiking boots which I find too stiff. These have plenty of flex and give - the police wear them so I am told.
Back to the dogs, who were much more energetic after the heat of the last couple of days. Walking in Leeds 17 today was of course wet and muddy but spotting two Kingfishers down on Adel Beck was a real highlight..... I know, two Kingfishers again, last time I saw two on the River Aire and now today, two more. Brilliant, just brilliant.
I did try and get a photo but my phone camera is just not up to the task, sorry.
Instead, here's photo's of the adorable girls.
